The following awards are given to individuals in recognition of outstanding service to children and families.

The Sallie Beth Moore Award

is given to an AAEYC member who is directly involved with young children and who has demonstrated outstanding service.

 

The Mabel Pitts Award

is given to a member for outstanding service and contributions on the behalf of young children.

 

The Madeline Sutherland Award

is given to a person for service to children who have special needs or disabilities.

 

The Jeannette Watson Award

is awarded to a public policy maker, official, or others who have contributed to the enhancement of the quality of life for young children.

AAEYC Education Grants

are awarded annually at the AAEYC Spring Awards Reception. We are pleased to announce the introduction of the AAEYC Jerry Townsend CDA Assessment Fee Award to assist a CDA Candidate with the submission of their CDA Assessment Application.
